Annual Cycling Event held in Robinson, Kansas
SDR 2009 Results
A surprise winner emerged on Saturday as Dominic Cozzi powered away from a four-man group and finished with an estimated time of 1:35:59. Mike "Duke" Koerperich was the second rider in and Gary McCregor of Atchison took the third spot.
Overall, the turnout of 10 riders was impressive considering nearly zero promotion and the lack of advance information on the event. The good news is that the new date appears to be winner and will eliminate the number one problem for the ride -- picking a good date. It's been agreed that the Sprint de Robinson will be held on the Saturday before Memorial Day going forward, so we hope to see a lot of the same riders out next year and thank everyone that made it out for the 2009 event.

-The Cup didn't make it to the Awards ceremony, but Dominic Cozzi's name will be etched on it. Cozzi joins the following list of Cup winners:
2004 - Dylan Goodwin*
2005 - Buddy Collins
2006 - Buddy Collins
2007 - Buddy Collins
2008 - Mike Koerperich
2009 - Dominic Cozzi
-The group took a short break in Everest to collect all riders. From Everest to Robinson, it was pretty much an all-out effort.
