Annual Cycling Event held in Robinson, Kansas
SDR 2008: In The Books
Mike "Duke" Koerperich claimed the 2008 SDR Cup yesterday by finishing first on the 23-mile course. The event itself was just a bridge to the 2009 event which will move to spring. It was decided to keep some consistency that we would try to get the event in the books for 2008 and focus on coming back strong in 2009. The calendar is more open for the organizers at that time of the year.
For the 2008 event, seven riders hit the roads with three taking the long course. Duke easily rode away from the other two "roadies" shortly after passing through Everest, Kansas. More details and photo to come ... stay tuned.
