SDR 2009 Results

A surprise winner emerged on Saturday as Dominic Cozzi powered away from a four-man group and finished with an estimated time of 1:35:59. Mike "Duke" Koerperich was the second rider in and Gary McCregor of Atchison took the third spot.Overall, the turnout of 10 riders was impressive considering nearly zero promotion and the lack of advance information on the event. Sorry, Dom -- for some reason I didn't get a notification. The starting was listed in the Events section, but I should have had it on the front page as well. I'd guess that we'll start at 9:00 a.m. next year.

SDR 2009: Saturday, May 23

The event is on ... we're going on May 23. It'll be 25 miles, starting in Robinson, Kansas looping through Everest and back. It'll be group ride style, but we'll let the first one back engrave their name on the SDR Cup.
